It is strongly recommended to arrive in Galveston at least one day before embarkation. Interstate closures and traffic delays cause major travel disruptions frequently. 

If you miss embarkation, cruise costs are typically non-refundable unless your travel insurance specifically covers it. If you have a passport you may be able to arrange flights to meet the ship at the first port of call, Costa Maya.

Expect surge pricing and longer wait times on embarkation morning.

Local cabs are readily available at the terminal exit on debarkation morning.
